Donation to the Tenon hospital - Edith Piaf

The Tenon AP-HP hospital organized on Wednesday February 20, 2019 the opening of a portrait of Edith Piaf, a world-renowned French singer born in this hospital in 1915, produced and offered by the artist Hom NGUYEN.

 

The event took place in the presence of Frederique Calandra, mayor of the 20 ^tharrondissement, Marie-Anne Ruder, préfiguratrice Deputy Director of University Hospital AP-HP.6 Group,  Marie-Pierre Férec, Director of Tenon Hospital AP-HP, Prof. Jean-Marie Jouannic, head of the Origyne.6 pole and Prof. Émile Daraï, head of the gynecology-obstetrics and reproductive medicine department at Tenon AP-HP hospital.

The original 280x180 cm work is installed in the reception hall of the recent Meyniel building of the Tenon AP-HP hospital. It has also been reproduced in a very large format (900x360cm) on an exterior wall of her recently renovated maternity hospital.
