Hom presents his new lithograph "Croyance" belief, published in limited edition, of 150 copies.

Elephants hold a unique place in the imagination and beliefs of many Asian cultures. Far more than simple animals, they embody strength, wisdom, and protection.
In the Buddhist traditions of Southeast Asia, the elephant is surrounded by spirituality. It is said that the Buddha's mother dreamed of a white elephant before his birth, a sign of purity and an exceptional destiny. Even today, the white elephant is considered a sacred being, reserved for kings or protected with special care. In the temples of Thailand, Sri Lanka, or Laos, its presence carries an almost mystical aura.

To this symbolism, Hom Nguyen adds the color yellow, which holds an important place in many Asian cultures. It is often associated with light, wisdom, and harmony. In Buddhist traditions, it is the color of monastic robes, symbolizing renunciation, humility, and spiritual ascension. Thus, when an elephant appears adorned with yellow fabrics, it becomes even more a symbol of sacred protection and a bridge between the earthly world and the spiritual realm.

Between belief, tradition, symbolic colors, and contemporary challenges, the elephant remains a living symbol of the profound relationship between humans and nature.

The lithograph measures 110 x 77 cm and is published in an edition of 150 copies, enhanced, numbered and signed. It was printed on BK Rives 300g paper at the Idem Paris printing house and is registered at the BNF.
