Le fil d'Ariane lithograph

Hom presents his new lithograph, "Le fil d'Ariane", published in a limited edition of 150 copies.

The artist was keen to publish this lithograph following his solo exhibition at the Musée du Touquet-Paris-Plage. It echoes the story of Ariadne, who in Greek mythology frees Theseus, the Prince of Athens, with a red thread from the labyrinth of Knossos, designed by Daedalus for King Minos, which served as a prison for the Minotaur, a half-man, half-bull creature.

For Hom Nguyen, this red thread is a symbol of life and hope.

It no longer speaks to us of dreams or wisdom, but of struggle: that of man in the labyrinth of life.

The lithograph measures 110 x 77 cm and is published in an edition of 150 copies, enhanced, numbered, and signed. It was printed on BK Rive 300g paper at the Idem Paris printing house and is registered at the BNF.
