Paul Éluard Museum - Solo Show

At the Art and History Paul Éluard Museum, Hom Nguyen chose to pay tribute to women, through the themes of love, elevation and commitment. A way of echoing Paul Éluard, poet of love, but also the history of the place marked by the commitment of strong women such as Louise Michel. In the cloister gallery, a series of 8 portraits of anonymous women, with diverse histories and origins, reflects the artist's commitment to peace, freedom, love as an intimate and political act. 3 monumental works have were designed for the Carmelite Chapel, including a portrait of Nush Éluard in ecstasy and a Virgin and Child. More spiritual than religious, Hom Nguyen's work is universal and humanist.
